Shanghai NanYang Electrical Appliance Co.; Ltd. is a private joint venture enterprise located in Songjiang Shanghai. We are one of the fixed manufacturers by Ministries of Railway, Construction and former Ministries of Mechanical, Urban Environmental Protection. Our company is sat up in 1993 with site area of 40,000sqm and building occupies 18,100sqm. We have now 250 staff members and original capital of 55 million. Our production output reaches 50,000Km wire and cable and RMB2 billion per year.There are 7 double extruder CCV lines, 2 domestic modern advance XLPE lines and 2 rubber compounding lines in our company. Cable specification covers the range from 0.2mm2 to 630mm2; single core to 60 cores. Maximum diameter of cable product can be produced up to 80mm.We can produce rubber, plastic, polyolefin insulated and sheathed wire and cable with a working temperature range from 65°C to 150°C. The cable products can meet national/international and enterprise standards with special performance, such as thermal resistance, low temperature resistance, weathering resistance, oil resistance, flame retardant, and low smoke halogen free etc. The product range covers Railway vehicle (Rolling stock) cable, elevator cable, shipboard cable, mining cable, rubber sheathed cable, welding cable, flexible wire, motor lead cable and other LV appliance wire and cable. The shipboard cable has gained the certificate from CCS, Germanischer Lloyd, ABS (US), British Lloyd, DNV (Norway) etc.Among the product series, Railway vehicle cable, Rubber sheathed cable, Motor lead cable, Elevator cable and PVC insulated cable have gained the certificate mark "CCC" by C.Q.C. Rubber sheathed flexible cable has gained certificate from VDE and a license of export overseas for mechanical/electrical products in Shanghai. Some products manufactured by us have been exported to the market in US great deal since the year 2000.We are a long term fixed supplier produced railway vehicle ( Rolling stock )cable which can meet the specifications of International Railway Union UIC895 and US Railway Association Standards AARS501 in China. We also developed low smoke halogen free cable which complies the requirement of VDE and European standard for MetroThe shipboard cable series including power cable, control cable, and communication cable and can pass the test of flame retardant bunched test grade A ; Low smoke halogen free flame retardant shipboard cable, Low smoke halogen free flame retardant/fire resistant warship cable continued developing are welcomed by customers. The warship cable has been certified as an achievement project of High-Modern technicalization in Shanghai.Meanwhile, we have developed some new products such as round/flat elevator cable with low smoke halogen free flame retardant performance and cable for nuclear power station. We have sat up an effective quality guarantee system and gained ISO 9002-94 in 1996. We gained the certificate for ISO9001-2000 in November 2002.There are testing equipment and facilities for such physical/electrical test, thermal/oxygen aging test, flame retardant/resistant test (for single, bunched test ), vulcanization test for rubber, bending for finished cable, smoke/halogen checking, conductor/rubber/plastic/chemical raw materials inspecting and etc for quality steadiness guarantee.
